Armed Forces is definitely a noble service, there are two distinguished cadres in armed forces, Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR) and Officer.
The difference between the cadres sounds to be minor for the outside world but it is not really so.
Thus one has to first decide according to his caliber and then go for the respective cadre.
If at all one gets recruited in OR cadre and feels at a wrong place then he is given ample chance by services to upgrade to the Officer cadre via various entries and exams at various length of his service. Still if he feels at a wrong place then it’s ‘just too bad’ for him, he has to no other option than to complete his initial engagement bond of15 to 20 years.
Not only men but woman are also looking forward towards armed forces as a career but woman can be recruited only as an officer.
